Well, here we are again, back to Monday. I'm feeling good about this week and I want to make it a productive one. I got a good start yesterday by prepping meals for the week ahead, decorating my apartment for fall and cleaning my jewelry. I'd been putting off cleaning for a long time but I was on a roll yesterday so I finally tried a DIY cleaner I found on Pinterest (because where else would I find such a thing?).
It was so simple and only took like 15 minutes.
It was so simple and only took like 15 minutes.
What you'll need:
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp dish soap
1 tbsp salt
1 cup water
Aluminum foil
A small bowl
Dirty jewelry
1 tbsp dish soap
1 tbsp salt
1 cup water
Aluminum foil
A small bowl
Dirty jewelry
Line the bottom of the bowl with aluminum foil and add dry ingredients. Then add cup of water. Your mixture should cause a chemical reaction and the water should bubble up. Drop in your jewelry and set a timer for 10 minutes.
When the timer is up remove your jewelry and scrub with an old toothbrush. Let dry and then watch it shine!
Super easy and you end up with fresh accessories at little to no cost. My kind of DIY.
