It's finally beginning to feel like Easter is on it's way so I've started brainstorming ideas for decor and gifts. First up, the Easter eggs! One of my favorite memories as a kid was drawing on the hard boiled eggs with those white wax crayons and taking turns making them pretty colors with my sister and brother. We were always trying new ways to combine colors and make the eggs extra special. Apparently, that instinct hasn't changed since I spent most of the morning searching for interesting ways to decorate eggs. Check out some of my favorite's below!
Possibly the easiest DIY ever, simply draw on your eggs with different colored Sharpies. Why haven't I ever thought of that? Courtesy of mom.me.
How amazing are these pineapple eggs? By painting the eggs yellow and adding some construction paper cut out leaves your Easter sunday can have a bit of a tropical feel. See the full tutorial here.
Who doesn't love glitter? Well, besides my boyfriend, pretty much everyone. Add some glue to the areas you want glittered and dip the eggs in a big bowl of the stuff! Beautiful and fun! Courtesy of Girl Inspired.
Last but not least, these heavenly little eggs are probably my favorite. SO simple and pretty much the most adorable thing I've seen today (though to be fair, I haven't received my hedgehog picture of the day yet). Sharpie's and baby's breath are all you need to recreate these sleeping beauties. Photo courtesy of laurenconrad.com.
