First off, sorry about the lack of post yesterday, my health wasn't exactly up to par. Now I'm back and ready to go and it's already hump day. Since I work in HR I'm always interested in learning about the new ways people are posting and searching for jobs. One of the most interesting new trends is the use of apps by employers and job searchers. My current favorite is called Switch. Switch is basically tinder for job hunting. Employers can post job openings and candidates can put up their resume and information. Switch searches candidates or employers that match what your searching for and it pops up in your Switch matches for the day. You can swipe left for No or right for Yes if you're interested in the match and then you'll get an email with more info, links to apply, etc.
The interface is really easy to use and I like that you can get a lot of detail about what the companies are offering as far as salary and benefits. They also have a feature which allows recruiters and candidates to chat instantly.
Like dating, job searching can be tough so a Tinder-like app for the job hunt is just what you needed. Try it out and let me know what you think. If you know of any other job hunting apps/programs let me know! I'm always looking for new ways to improve our recruiting experience!
